So we're talking preparedness. Survival kits, hot wired power, and other such things are fine and good if you're in suburbia, but me, I'm in the city - Baltimore to be exact. Now, I don't think either of my neighbors are planning on torching their Beemers, but to be blunt, there are people that can and will take advantage of a severe crisis. So, is now the time to pick up a few small arms and work towards making Fortress Canton or is that a damn fine way to start a fight I won't end up winning?

I will be inviting a number of people to as friends of this journal in order to better discuss oil or more accurately put, the lack thereof. Faced with the large number of posts that this will involve and the non-discriminatory manner in which I will friend people, I've gone through and reset a number of years worth of posts (thank god for old versions of semagic) into a custom filter.

Basically, it goes like this. If you are here to prepare against the day in which we have a world without oil, then friend me or poke me to add you to the appropriate filter so as to spare you from my spam and drivel about youtube, video game rants, general pop culture, and the occasional insightful post if two neurons rub together in just the right way.

If however you've known me elsewhere or how, then rejoice! Years more of of the same await!
